In 1912, Dr.-Ing. Max Schlötter established his electrochemical research laboratory in Leipzig, and from it developed today's firm of Dr.-Ing. Max Schlötter GmbH & Co. KG. The founder of the company is widely acknowledged as a pioneer in the field of electro-plating technology.

Schlötter (Ireland) Ltd was established in Newbridge, Co Kildare in 1976, concentrating (primarily, but not exclusively) on providing reliable electroplating processes, plant and plating equipment for use by electronic component and printed circuit board manufacturers.

We have currently completed construction of a new state-of-the-art facility, which will effectively double our overall capacity, whilst enhancing working conditions and ensuring the highest environmental and safety standards.

Electroplating is an advanced technology including not only electrolytic but also chemical processes, and all the pre and post treatment processes required to produce plated parts and components for virtually all sectors of industry.
